Find out more about Point 17 on the N2

Point 17 of the N2 is nothing less than Pedrogão Grande, a municipality in the district of Leiria, located in the Beira Interior region.

In Pedrogão Grande you can find 2 fantastic dams: the Cabril dam that you can contemplate from our Hotel, and the Bouçã dam located in the parish of Graça. These were two elements that strongly changed the region by contributing to a milder climate. In the municipality, in addition to the dam, the Roman bridge is an element of high tourist interest as well as river beaches.

In the Zêzere River dams, there are several places to find a river beach area. However, also in the Monastery, the river beach is a place not to be missed. In this place the river was transformed into a kind of swimming pool with a stone bottom. In any of these places you can have access to food and drinks in the small bars that are in the area.

If you are a fan of religious attractions, at Point 17 of the N2 you can find the Misericórdia Chapel, built in the 15th century, currently having a religious art museum with rare altarpieces in Portugal.
