I. General Conditions
All prices include VAT at the current legal rate.
Check-in: from 2:00 PM.
Check-out: until 12:00 PM.
Complaints will only be accepted if made during the client’s stay and addressed to the Management in writing.
Clients may leave a deposit of up to R$ 100 per person at check-in (in cash), which will be returned at check-out after room inspection. This deposit will cover any losses or damages, material or personal, that you may cause to the Hotel da Montanha during your stay. In this case, the Hotel da Montanha reserves the right to temporarily retain this deposit until the facts are fully investigated. If it is found that the client had a direct or indirect action related to the facts that caused such losses or damages, the Hotel da Montanha will proceed with the definitive retention of the amount necessary to cover such losses or damages, regardless of any other legal measures it deems necessary to take to hold the client civilly and/or criminally liable.
Access to our small Boutique SPA is only permitted for children aged 0 to 18 years from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, provided they are constantly accompanied by an adult. In the pool and Jacuzzi, the use of a swimming cap and swim diaper is mandatory for babies.
Half board includes one meal consisting of soup or starter, main course and dessert, excluding drinks, and can be served at lunch or dinner. Full board includes two meals — lunch and dinner — with soup or starter, main course and dessert, also excluding drinks. Menus are selected by the Hotel da Montanha and may be served at the table or in buffet format when available.
For electronic payments, there may be a minimum value that is clearly displayed at the unit.
II. Cancellation/Modification Conditions
• From January to June (inclusive) and from October to December (inclusive), except New Year’s Eve and Easter Week, 48 hours before arrival free of charge; after this period the deposit amount will be charged.
• From July to September (inclusive), including Easter Week, 7 days before arrival free of charge; after this period the deposit amount will be charged.
• On New Year’s Eve, 14 days before arrival free of charge; after this period the deposit amount will be charged.
• In case of non-compliance with the above conditions, the deposit amount will be charged and deducted from a future booking within a maximum period of one year.
• No-show fee: The deposit amount will be charged, with no right to deduction or refund.
• Modification Terms: Cancellation policies apply.

How long is the data stored?
The length of time during which data is stored and retained varies depending on the purpose for which the information is processed.
Personal data is kept until its intended purpose is fulfilled, and is deleted 5 years after the customer’s last interaction with our services.
Indeed, there are legal requirements that mandate data retention for a minimum period. Therefore, and whenever there is no specific legal requirement, the data will be stored and retained only for the minimum period necessary for the purposes that motivated its collection or subsequent processing, or for the period authorized by the National Data Protection Commission, after which it will be deleted.
Regarding personal data collected in the context of certain more personalized activities, possibly of a more sensitive nature, namely massage and babysitting services, it will be deleted immediately after the activity ends or at the end of the stay if the guest gives their consent to this second condition.
