Boutique Spa & Wellness

Our Boutique Spa offers a wide range of services and facilities, including: Turkish Bath, Jacuzzi, Support Gym, Massages, Heated Indoor Pool, Sauna and Solarium.

For your comfort, our SPA KIT is available at Reception and includes a bathrobe, towel and slippers, subject to an additional charge. Please contact Reception.

Outdoor Pool: 09:00h – 21:00h (April to October)

Indoor Pool, Sauna, Turkish Bath, Solarium and Jacuzzi: 10:00h – 20:00h.

“We offer 3 swimming pools: two outdoor pools, including a children’s pool, and one heated indoor pool.

The swimming pools and Boutique Spa are exclusively for the use of hotel guests.

Children from 0 to 18 years old are only allowed from 10:00h to 13:00h and from 18:00h to 20:00h, provided they are permanently accompanied by an adult.

In the indoor pool and Jacuzzi, the use of a swim cap is mandatory, and babies must wear swim diapers.

Emergency and Fire Procedures

  • Read the safety instructions posted next to your room door.
  • Locate the nearest emergency exits and ensure you can reach them under adverse conditions.

A fire detection system is installed. If you hear the alarm siren, proceed calmly to the assembly point using the nearest exit and wait for assistance.

  • Smoking is prohibited in the rooms and indoor areas (please see “Smoking Prohibition” in “Internal Rules and Good Conduct”)
  • Please unplug electrical appliances when they are not in use and report any electrical issues to our reception (ext. 9)
  • Stay calm
  • Immediately alert Reception (ext. 9)
  • Touch the door of your room; if it feels too hot, keep it closed
  • Place a damp towel over your mouth and nose
  • Spray your clothing with water
  • If you leave your room, take your key and proceed to the nearest emergency exit
  • Leave your personal belongings behind
  • Stay below the smoke, crawling if necessary
  • Do not use the elevators
    Exit the hotel using the emergency exits only
  • Close all doors as you pass through

Internal Rules and Good Conduct

  1. Use of the Boutique Spa is entirely the individual responsibility of its users and subject to strict compliance with the established rules and regulations.
  2. Access is restricted to hotel guests. Children from 0 to 2 years old are not allowed in the Spa da Montanha.
  3. Children from 3 to 18 years old are allowed in the Spa da Montanha from 10:00h to 13:00h and from 17:00h to 20:00h, provided they are permanently accompanied by an adult.
  4. Hotel da Montanha is not responsible for damages or losses resulting from incidents unrelated to its operation.
  5. For your safety, avoid wearing jewellery, watches or other personal items while using the pool and SPA facilities.
  6. The Hotel cannot be held responsible for damage, defects or malfunctions caused by using such items during activities.
  7. The Hotel reserves the right not to open the space when visible information indicates it cannot do so.
  8. Appropriate clothing and footwear are mandatory.
  9. Running, playing ball or behaving disorderly is not permitted.
  10. Guests must use a low tone of voice while using the SPA da Montanha to avoid disturbing the relaxation of other users.
  11. Eating, drinking or smoking in this area is prohibited.
  12. Failure to comply with these rules may result in total prohibition of use of this space, and the Hotel reserves the right to expel the user for incorrect behaviour.

At Hotel da Montanha we promote an atmosphere of tranquillity, safety and well‑being. To ensure all guests fully enjoy their stay, we kindly ask that you respect the following guidelines.

Coexistence and Respect

Treat other guests and staff with courtesy. Avoid aggressive, offensive or disruptive behaviour. Respect queues, waiting times and rules of common areas.

Children and Young People

Children must always be accompanied by an adult. Running or playing in corridors or circulation areas is not permitted.

Hotel Commitment

Hotel da Montanha is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment, always acting with professionalism, discretion and respect.

Alcohol Consumption

Consumption must be moderate and responsible. Behaviour that causes disturbance or risk may lead to staff intervention.

Care for the Facilities

Use the room, furniture and equipment responsibly. Any damage caused will be charged to the reservation according to technical assessment.

Hygiene and Conservation

Keep the room in good hygienic condition. Use appropriate waste containers and avoid practices that may cause strong odours, stains or excessive dirt.

Non‑Compliance

Failure to comply with this code may result in:

Smoking Prohibition

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. Please refer to the “Smoking Prohibition Policy” for more information.

There are outdoor smoking areas. Non‑compliance results in fines and cleaning charges according to internal rules.

Respect for Quietness

The hotel is located in a natural setting of rest. Please maintain discreet behaviour in common areas and respect quiet hours:

  • 22:00h – 08:00h
  • 14:00h – 16:00h

Avoid loud noises, music, loud conversations or any behaviour that may disturb other guests.

Restaurant and Bar – Coexistence Rules

For a pleasant experience for everyone:

  • Respect meal times and any waiting periods.
  • Maintain discreet behaviour, avoiding excessive noise.
  • Entering the restaurant in swimwear or without footwear is not permitted.
  • Children must remain seated and accompanied by an adult.
  • Alcohol consumption must be moderate and responsible.
  • Bringing food or drinks from outside is not permitted, except in authorised situations
  • Respect staff instructions regarding reservations, table occupancy and circulation.

Safety

Do not tamper with alarms, extinguishers or emergency equipment. Always follow staff instructions in case of evacuation or incident.

Boutique SPA – Usage Rules

(Does not replace consultation of the “Boutique SPA Usage Rules”)

To ensure an atmosphere of absolute relaxation:

  • Keep your voice low.
  • Use your mobile phone only when essential and always in silent mode.
  • Shower before using the indoor pool, sauna or jacuzzi.
  • Running, jumping or any behaviour that compromises safety is not permitted.
  • Children may only access the spa when allowed and always accompanied by an adult.
  • Wearing slippers is mandatory in wet areas.

This policy applies to all indoor areas of the hotel, including:

Rooms and bathrooms Corridors, stairways and elevators Meeting rooms, restaurant and indoor bar Reception and administrative areas Technical and service areas

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all indoor hotel areas, including the use of:

Traditional cigarettes Electronic cigarettes / vaporizers Cigars and pipes Any device that produces smoke, vapour or odour associated with tobacco or similar substances

Smoking is only permitted in outdoor areas, such as room terraces or balconies, the pool surroundings, and outdoor seating areas equipped with ashtrays.

This policy exists to:

Ensure fire safety Protect the health of guests and staff Maintain air quality and environmental comfort Prevent damage, persistent odours and extraordinary cleaning costs

Failure to comply with this rule results in mandatory charges applied directly to the reservation:

Fine for smoking in the room or indoor areas: €300 (Includes deep cleaning, deodorisation, textile washing and extended ventilation.)

Damage caused by burns, residues or tobacco equipment: Additional costs according to technical assessment (furniture, textiles, carpet, equipment).

Activation of the fire detection system due to smoke or vapour: €350 + any emergency service call‑out fees.

These amounts cover operational costs and ensure strict compliance with safety regulations.

Legal fine: Smoking in a prohibited area may result in a fine between €50 and €500 (Law 37/2007 of 14 August).

Rosmaninho Event Room With its panoramic view, this room comfortably accommodates the most memorable and well‑attended events. Maximum capacity of 400 people.

Sobreiro Event Room A smaller room, fully equipped for conferences and meetings. Maximum capacity of 70 people.

Located next to the outdoor pool, this snack bar offers you the chance to enjoy a magnificent view while relaxing with a drink or savouring a light meal. Open from 11:00h to 19:00h, from June to September, weather permitting.

Next to the reception, it offers a wide variety of herbal teas, infusions, teas, coffee, snacks and drinks. Open 24 hours, 365 days a year.
