Quintã Shale Trail

The PR4 “Rockrose Route” is a walking trail of exceptional scenic beauty, taking visitors through several picturesque villages, including Rebaixia dos Tomés, Chão da Telha, Vale da Ponte, Rebaixia dos Faustinos, and Casal de Santana.

Churches, chapels, wayside crosses, and roadside shrines are a constant presence along the route, reflecting the deep-rooted religious traditions of the local communities.

The Tamolha Stream and the Isna Bridge are among the highlights of the trail, where visitors will undoubtedly want to pause and admire the remarkable beauty of these locations.

Towards the end of the route, hikers can visit the Parish Church, dedicated to Saint Anne (Santa Ana).
